Birds are so special - flight, beauty and song. They represent the spiritual, freedom and peace.
I had a pet parakeet while growing up and kept finches (zebra and orange-cheeked) while my children grew. We were fortunate enough to get to see the zebra finch couple raise some babies.
My son knows a lot about birds, he had some classes in university. Now he is an avid birder and has recently started a photography hobby. I very much enjoy painting from his photos from time to time.
I hope my paintings reflect the affection and appreciation that I have for birds.
