It had been about 10 years since I’d painted. But in 2020, I had more free time because I was working from home - no commute. I was happy to have time to paint again (although Covid-19 sucks) and grateful to have something fun to think about in my free time. I focused mostly on birds in 2020. My style is painterly. I care about emotions, impressions, colors, shapes and values - pretty much in that order too.
